Making a Claim

We hope you never need to contact us to make a claim but, in the event that you do, we want the process to be as smooth and hassle-free as possible for you.

How do I make a claim?

Motor – UK Residents (24 hrs)

Get in touch as soon as possible. For car or motorbike incidents, please phone 028 9032 2607, or if you are a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, please phone 028 9032 2167. If you are an EIS member, please phone 028 9053 8167.

Motor – ROI Residents

Get in touch as soon as possible by contacting 048 9044 2200 during office hours.
Calls may be recorded for our mutual protection.

Home and Travel – UK Residents

For home and travel insurance claims, please call 028 9044 2200.

What information do I need to provide?

When you call, you will need to tell us:

  • the date and time of the incident.
  • an indication of the extent of the damage or loss.
  • details of any other parties involved.

What else do I need to do?

In most cases, you will need to complete an incident report form, but we’ll be able to confirm this with you when you call.

If there has been a theft or attempted theft, you must tell the police immediately. If you receive a writ, summons or other legal documents or letters, you must send them to your claims handler promptly.
