Driving in Europe after Brexit | Cornmarket Insurance

Drivers have been advised that if the UK is to leave the EU without an exit deal there may be a need to arrange what is known as a Green Card if they wish to drive their vehicle in the EU.

It has been confirmed the UK will not leave the EU on 12th April 2019, this means that if you are planning on driving in the EU between now and the new exit date 31st of October 2019 the current status is that you will not need a Green Card to do so.

The proposed date of the EU exit is not final and may change. If you are planning on driving in the EU please make sure to be aware of the current status.
