If you have completed an advanced riders course we can offer you additional discounts of up to 20% from our standard rates by recognising the skills and experience you have built up as a IAM RoadSmart Member *.

European Cover

As a IAM RoadSmart member your cover can be tailored to match your requirements, including multi-rider policies, multi-bike policies¹ and up to 90 days European cover for UK bikers*.

Free Protected Bonus

As an IAM member your policy includes No Claims Bonus Protection so that you don't lose your no claims bonus when you have to make a claim*^.

Free Observing Cover*

We will provide cover for observers whilst using their own motorcycle to observe associates, at no additional cost*.

 

Skill Days Cover (optional extra)*+

IAM RoadSmart Members, Fellows, Observers, Examiners and Masters can purchase Skills Day Cover for £16.50 per day to protect you and your motorbike while attending an IAM RoadSmart approved skills day event.*^

IAM RoadSmart Instructors can purchase Skills Day Cover for £16.50 for 1 year to cover instructors and their motorbikes while instructing and attending at an IAM RoadSmart approved skills day event.*+

Blood biking and marshalling

In recognition of the valiant efforts of blood bikers, we provide automatic cover to all IAM RoadSmart Motorbike policyholders who give freely of their time to safely deliver blood, platelets, samples, X-rays to hospitals up and down the country:

IAM RoadSmart members are not required to add ‘commuting’ or ‘business use’ to be covered as a Blood Biker as we class Blood biking activities as voluntary act and not an occupation.  Members should note that if they need ‘commuting’ or ‘business use’ included on their policy you should select this option and which may result in an alternative premium quote.

Cornmarket, Adelaide motorbike and our insurers do not charge any additional extra premiums when quoting for a Blood Biking volunteer.  Once your cover is in place, one of our insurance specialists will add a reference note on your policy and send you on an e-mail to confirm that your policy premium has not been affected).
